Account & Data Deletion

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app or web account

This is the fastest method and is available in every CAI Solutions LLC product:

1. Sign in to the app or to your account on the web.
2. Open Settings → Account.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted. Deletion begins immediately.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you cannot sign in, email support@cairetail.com from the address associated with your account with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include:

• the product you use (CAI Retail, MenuBrat, PepperVBall, or other);
• the email address and, if applicable, the mobile number on the account; and
• whether you want the entire account deleted or only specific data removed.

We will verify your identity before acting on the request, acknowledge it within 5 business days, and complete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Data	What happens
Profile & account details	Permanently deleted.
Content you created	Permanently deleted, unless it belongs to a shared business account or organization that continues to operate.
Mobile number & SMS consent records	Number deleted. A minimal opt‑out record is retained where required to ensure we do not message you again.
Usage & analytics data	De‑identified so it can no longer be linked to you.
Billing & transaction records	Retained for the period required by tax and accounting law (generally 7 years), then deleted.
Backups	Purged on our regular backup rotation, within 90 days of deletion.

Important notes

• Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted it cannot be restored, and neither can your content. Export anything you want to keep first.
• Active subscriptions. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your platform account settings to stop future charges.
• Organization accounts. If you belong to a business or team account, deleting your personal account removes you from that organization but does not delete the organization's data. The account administrator controls that.
• Legal holds. We may retain limited data where required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or prevent fraud and abuse.

Deleting specific data instead

If you want to remove particular records rather than your whole account, you can do that within each product, or email support@cairetail.com describing what you want removed. You can also stop text messages without deleting anything by replying STOP to any message.
